 I’ve been wanting to write this for a long time. It is more than well deserved and the reason why I took so long is that I LOVE my puppies and all I want to do is spend the time with them ;-)

After the loss of my beloved yorkie Chiara we realized that life without yorkie furbabies is difficult and started the search for a reputable breeder. It didn’t take long before we came across Brenda Green.  Brenda was highly recommended and my only worry was “ is she going to like me enough to let me love and spoil one of her puppies?” Well, after a night full of anxiety I made the call and as soon as I spoke to Brenda all was great. Brenda's knowledge, compassion, and professionalism immediately made me feel that not only is getting another Yorkie the right step, but getting one from Green’s Treasured Yorkshire Terriers is the right decision. I saw a photo of this adorable female puppy with a curious look and her ears up - Chloe. She was the one. It took a couple of weeks before we could drive to MI to pick up Chloe (6 hours each way - totally worth it). Brenda introduced us to Chloe’s mom and dad and sent us home with a thoughtfully prepared booklet covering feeding and nutrition, health, vaccinations, training, food, treats, and Chloe’s toys to help her with the transition.

Chloe has been....well, perfect! Her personality is like no other and we’ve loved her to pieces until ....we decided than we would love one
more puppy to keep Chloe company. We were so lucky that Brenda had one puppy available - Dylan = love bug - just waiting for us to taking him home to Chloe. They have been apart for 5 weeks, but they haven’t left*each other’s side since we brought Dylan home. They play, snuggle, play, snuggle, and love each other. Chloe and Dylan are healthy, beautiful, playful, and loving puppies and we can not be happier that we found Brenda Green.

 My boyfriend and I are the proud new parents of Calvin. We were able to watch him grow up through pictures, videos, and stories about him from 9 days old, until we picked him up. We met and played with the mom and dad, who are so friendly and well behaved. The first thing you notice when you go inside Brenda's home, is how at ease and at home you feel. It's a perfect environment to raise happy healthy puppies. Calvin is a beautiful boy with a great personality. It is so easy to see that he was raised in a wonderful loving home. He is a confident, curious little guy, and we are so thankful he is a part of our family.
I recommend Brenda to everyone. She is a great breeder who truly cares about each and every puppy. We are so grateful that she chose us to give Calvin AND Chase a great home (we got Chase from her last summer and had such a great experience that we knew we wanted another baby from her)!

Breny (brenda) Greens Treasured Yorkies is amazing! Yesterday I picked up my beautiful baby girl Brielle (Gucci) and she is stunning. She is so much more than I had hoped thanks to Brenda. I would recommend Brenda to anyone who is looking to add a precious baby to the family. I first saw Brielle at 9 days old and watched her and her litter mates grow right before my eyes with weekly pictures and videos. Brielle was transported from MI to NJ flawlessly. Jodi the courier took such special care of her during the journey. I knew Brenda would use the most capable hands to bring my babyhome. The entire experience is one I will never forget.

 Willow is so amazing!!  She is amazingly smart, loving and full of high energy!  Willow and Daisy Mae get along so very well. If they are separated for any length of time (even 5 mins.) one of them starts whimpering for the other!!  Willow is definitely a Mama’s girl. When I took her to the vet last week for a check-up, I put her down on the floor fully expecting her to run around the waiting room. I was so surprised and very proud that She stayed right by my feet, sitting down and waiting for me to pick her back up!

Breny, I knew from the moment that I got to know you that you were a Breeder that I had to have my next furbaby from. You are such a loving, compassionate and dedicated breeder. Not to mention an amazing friend. I truly miss talking with you weekly and when I did finally get to meet you, it was like seeing an old friend.  Both Nelson and I thank you so much for allowing us to bring Willow home with us and add her to our family. We love her so very much, and it’s all thanks to you!

 I just want to let everyone know how wonderful of a breeder Brenda Green ( "Breny" as we will know her) of Green's Treasured Yorkies is.  She is just great I got my little Roxy( previously Armani of her "six pack" from her. I have watched her grow up since birth. Brenda sent me pictures, and videos weekly and most weeks I got pictures twice. She was there to answer all my questions at any time, and was so positive through the process. I traveled to her house to pick up little Roxy so I got the wonderful opportunity to meet Roxy's parents they were beautiful, and not timid what so ever. Roxy came home with such a good temperament as well, and she was pretty much pee pad trained! Brenda raises such healthy babies, and you can tell all of the time and love she puts into them. I would recommend anyone to her! It was well worth the 4 hour drive!! Thanks again for allowing us to bring home little Roxy Girl!

Hi Brenda,

We picked London up today, it went great.  The kids did great playing statue like we talked about so London could come to them and sniff them and get to know them.  She is an amazing little dog, we are blessed.   They love her so much already.  We had to send them to bed so London could get some down time.  She is a lovely little dog and very well behaved and clever.  We practiced  "Come London"  using cheerios as a reward she did great even when we hid around the counter.  Thanks for our beautiful London!  London is so sweet and laid back.  She had her bath tonight and did so well.  Potty training is going pretty well.  When London is in her playpen she almost always hits her pee pad.  She seems quite intelligent!  I am so thankful that you did a great job in socializing your pups.  Our house has a lot of children and adults coming and going and she does so well meeting everyone.  I am so glad that she greets everyone in a friendly way, our former neighbors Yorkie you could not attempt to pet because he would try and nip you and it barked costantly.  So far London has been really well behaved.

Oliver has now been with us for a month and we can’t express what joy he has brought to our home.   For a 16 wk old pup he is very well behaved and I know that is because of the great care and training he received from you.  It was very helpful for him to be pre-potty pad trained especially since we had 3 feet of snow on the ground for his first couple of weeks with us!  He is now getting the knack of going outside for his needs and for the most part he is a very quick learner.  We also realized very quickly that he understood the word ‘no’ and has an immediate response to stopping what he is doing knowing it isn’t good.  Your hard and dedicated work with your pups certainly pays off for their new families.  Oliver has a very active social schedule and does amazing with both adults and children.  We went on a walk the other night and all the neighborhood kids were out and I’m not sure who was more anxious to see each other.  Oliver ran right to them and was more than anxious to have every one pet him and hold him.  By the way he is a very good walker!  He has also had the pleasure of being with his sister London every Friday where they hang out together and with the kids.  He loves being social and we have been very pleased that he thrives around adults and kids.  Tuesday evenings he goes to the local pet store where they provide a puppy play time, he has been a little more cautious in this environment but is getting used to the fact that he is by far the smallest of his canine friends.  The Great Danes in the group are very gentle with him but he would rather hang out with the Dachshunds.
 
We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have heard about you from the Smiths who highly recommended you.  We were heartbroken when we lost our Miniature Schnauzer last fall and weren’t sure about switching to another breed.  The Smiths convinced us that you were the only breeder (they did a ton of research) out there to purchase a Yorkshire terrier from.  They were right. Oliver came to us knowing more than any pup I have every met at his age.  He is smart, very healthy (our vet whom we used for over 16 years was extremely impressed) and extremely loving.  We couldn’t have asked for anything more.  We are especially fortunate to have had the experience of bringing Oliver’s sister (London) back with us for our friends the Perrin family.  They are the sweetest gifts anyone could wish for.   Thank you so much for using your talent to provide such wonderful gifts to our world.

Hello Brenda!  We were just saying the other day that we needed to send you a little update!  We have named him Max, and he is the sweetest thing in the world to me.  He is a wonderful addition to our family (as you can see), and I tried to send pictures of just him.  We love him dearly and he too loves us.  He is so excited to see us each time one of gets home from school or work.  It's like having another kid.  He has checked wonderfully with the vet, his shots are all up to date and he is now weighing in at a whopping 4.6 lbs.  He follows me everywhere I go.  He is so very playful and makes us laugh a lot of the time.  He has even had his first haircut and is actually ready to go back on Thursday for his second one.  I am giving your number to one of my son's  teacher's as she just adored him when I brought him in to pick my son up from his 7th grade classes.  She is looking for one herself.  I hope that you enjoy the pictures that I have sent to you.  He is a very wonderful dog and I love him dearly.  Thank you so much for bringing such joy to our family.  We are having so much fun with him.  I also take him into work with me where both the families and the residents adore him!  ( I am  a rehab nurse!)  Thanks again!  -Kris

I contacted Breny of Greens Treasured Yorkshire Terriers and Biewers at the end of July - just a few days after Aidan and his Biewer litter-mates were born. I was looking for a good breeder in my home state of Michigan and found Breny.
I wanted a pup very badly but I was also terrified because this would be my very first dog. (I have two cats.) So Breny and I talked back and forth for a couple of days and she sent me pictures of her Biewer litter. I enjoyed our communications very much because she has a great sense of humor and I immediately felt that she was trustworthy which meant everything to me. Next I somehow managed to summon the courage to send her a deposit to hold her awesomely adorable Biewer pup, Aidan/Reighny for me until he was twelve weeks old.

My wait was about ten weeks during which time I was elated, scared, doubtful and at various times went through a laundry list of other emotions that are too numerous to mention in this post. I have to tell you that Breny was absolutely magnificent about dealing with my millions of questions and apprehensions. She calmly answered the questions and one night when my anxieties were at an all-time high she even supported me when I requested a late night visit to see her pups. (She said yes.) She also proved over and over again that I was absolutely right about her trustworthiness!

Well we finally picked Aidan/Reighny up this past Monday and are absolutely in love with him. He's gorgeous of course (says his new Mom LOL) and has a golden personality that's obviously the result of the enormous amount of love that Breny showers on her pups.

I highly recommend Breny as a breeder and believe that anyone who has an opportunity to adopt one (or more) of her pups should grab it!

Hi Brenda!
Chase is sleeping right now, so I figured I'd give you a quick update.
First, I have to say thank you. He is the perfect puppy :) He is adorable, and has been great. He has played alot, took a nap with Jay, ate his canned food and dry food, peed 5 times and pooed once, all on his pad! The only almost accident he had, I was able to see what he was about to do and put him on his pad in time. I can't believe how great he is :) No accidents yet, he's eating great, loves the toys, and he still hasn't barked or whined at all. Now he's sleeping in his bed with the blanket you sent. He's so sweet.
Thank you for welcoming us into your home and letting us play with his mom and dad too. They are both sweet. I am just so happy with Chase!
Also, thank you so much for everything you sent with him! He loves that blanket and the balls and the lamb. I love how organized you have the folder, and enjoyed reading through everything. The bag was so sweet too. I didn't notice it until we got home.......but all these little things and how Chase acts is what makes you a great breeder. I appreciate everything you did to make me feel involved, from the pictures every week, to the cute things he would do.
I better get to bed, but I just wanted you to know how great he is doing so far, and how much we love him already :)

I first signed on to a Yorkie Internet Group December 2005, to begin investigating the breed, and decide whether a Yorkie would be the proper choice for us.  The following year, I began noticing that there was a member from Michigan who routinely posted kind, knowledgeable, and helpful responses to numerous questions and requests for help. This person was Brenda Green or also known as Breny.  From her responses, it was evident that Brenda knew a tremendous amount about the breeding and care of Yorkies.  Visiting her website made me aware that she was a breeder of Yorkies.  When I read the responses of so many customers who were extremely enthusiastic about the entire experience of obtaining their new family member from Brenda, I knew I had found the ONLY person I would go to when it became time to bring home our own Yorkie.

That time came in January of this year, when I placed a nervous yet excited phone call to Brenda.  She immediately made me feel so comfortable, and we had a wonderful, informative, and productive conversation.  At the end of it, Brenda had approved us for purchase of one of her special Treasures, and we were matched with the December baby who Brenda identified as Star, and who now we know as Giselle.  The deposit was paid, and we had taken the first step on what has become a wonderful experience, which started that evening with our first interaction with Brenda, and has continued up through today.

Brenda was just wonderful during the time we waited to come get Giselle.  She provided us with new pictures every week, so we could watch our new little girl as she grew.  We couldn't wait to see the latest batch of pictures every week!  She also was a fountain of information about how we should feed her, and prepare her living quarters.  Also, because of an international trip we had scheduled a year in advance, we couldn't come get Giselle for 3 weeks after the earliest date we could have picked her up.  Brenda was more than willing to accommodate us, for which we were extremely grateful.  She even got Giselle her second vaccination on schedule, so that her health protection would not be compromised. 

As the special day drew near, Brenda gave us recommendations for lodging and restaurants.  It is almost an 800 mile round trip between our home in northern IL, and Brenda's house, so it was definitely going to be an overnight trip...but my wife and I thought that was a small price to pay to obtain our precious Yorkie from the ideal breeder, we just would not have considered any other source for our new little girl!

Finally, Sunday March 8th, 2009 arrived - a day we will now never forget!  We arrived at Brenda's right at the appointed time, and we warmly greated by her husband Joe and his son.  Then it was through the door and into Brenda's "transfer room" (she has everything organized so professionally!).  Star was waiting for us in the crib that Brenda has set up for the transfer process, and it was absolute love at first sight!  I could not believe we were finally meeting our baby!  What a thrilling and special and memorable and thoroughly joyful experience! - one that I will always remember!  Brenda had a package made up for us that contained several of Star's favorite toys, her blanket, her bed, and a collection of food and treat samples. Also included was a highly professional (in keeping with the professional she is) folder that included all of Giselle's medical records, AKC papers, and a few surprises.  My wife told our friends that we didn't have anything nearly as complete and organized for either of our kids!

We have now had Giselle for 4 weeks, and she has become a wonderful part of our family.  She is vibrant, playful, extremely affectionate, adventurous, and just a little bit feisty!  She loves fetch, in any shape or form, indoors and out.  Her training has gone very well, and I would say she is going outside 95% of the time. She has been to the vet twice, and each time, the vet has exclaimed how perfect a Yorkshire Terrier she is.  Her eyes, teeth, ears, knees, coat, and overall bone structure are virtually perfect.  That is obviously the result of her superb blood lines, which are of course Brenda's selection.  One additional note - I can't tell you how many people, some who know dogs very well, have told us that Giselle is either the cutest dog, or the cutest Yorkie they have ever seen.
 
Many times during these last 4 weeks, it has been driven home to me the critical importance of obtaining a Yorkshire Terrier from a professional and dedicated breeder.  Brenda Green is such a person.  She is passionate about caring for her babies, and providing exceptional personal attention both before and after you pick up your new little loved one.  I am sure there are other fine breeders out there, but I personally would never consider obtaining a Yorkshire Terrier puppy from anyone else.  GS

We are sooo happy to have Holly!!!
She is the little, cute, happy and sweetest dog I have ever seen. She has been with us for less than a week and is so attached to our family, following us all over the house, playing, exploring and giving kisses to everybody.
Holly is our first dog. Brenda has given us a wonderful support since the very first e-mail we exchange. At our first visit I was impressed how lovely Holly's mom and dad are and how much Brenda cares about them. No wonder Holly is a such happy and sweet puppy!

Our Yorkshire terrier passed away a year and a half ago.  We decided it was time to get over our grief and adopt another yorkie.  We are very particular people, view our dog as a child and plan to have her for at least 15+ years.   We also wanted a dog that we could show if we choose to do so.

Green’s is NOT a “puppy mill”.  Brenda prides herself in hand-raising her dogs; they truly are her children.  Prior to depositing, Brenda promptly answered our questions providing us with educational information regarding her dogs and their lines.  We wanted a small, baby-doll face, lighter colored yorkie with good bloodlines and least likely genetically defects.  Green’s Treasured Yorkshire Terriers delivered.  We were sent pictures, weight and updates regarding our baby until the time she was old enough to take home.  The moment we stepped foot into Brenda’s home we felt the love.  Her dogs are her life and we immediately knew we made the right decision.  Our baby girl was waiting for us as well as a cd, baby book of pictures, updates, growth and progress from the time she was born until the day we came to get her.  Brenda not only blessed us with a beautiful baby girl but also gave us a care package that included valuable breed and puppy information, the parent’s pedigrees, medical information, a wonderful dog bed, a baby blanket, several toys and started us on fabulous Life Abundance dog food and treats to ensure us a lifetime of health.  Brenda made the transition to our home smoother by including a toy that was with the litter since birth.

To anyone who is considering a Yorkie, defiantly go to Brenda Green. She is a very kind, intelligent women who knows what she is doing when it comes to the best interest of her puppy's! When ever we had a question or concern she always made sure to e-mail us or call us back right away. Brenda also has confidence about their transition to their new home, which makes u feel a lot better, knowing that they should adjust well. Thanks to Brenda i was able to see weekly updates on my new baby, and was able to watch his life from the very first weeks. Brenda made sure to keep in contact and tell me about my baby boys personality and what he was like. Brenda has been an amazing person to work with. She has gone above and beyond to give Daisy her new little sister and what a wonderful girl she is.

We went to the vet after she arrived and I would like to share with you his compliments to the breeder. This breeder did everything right. Pup's bone structure is very nice. He went on and on and on. He said that this breeder really followed a good vaccination schedule and covered everything. All in all he was very impressed with her.

Let me just tell you a little about my dealings with Brenda. I inquired and she responded within hours. I asked question after question about anything and everything and she always answered me. My fiancé even told me that I ask way to many questions and she had no
problem with me asking questions and answering them. Regardless what the question was she took time out to answer it and explain it to me if I didn’t know. I asked her to hold Jersey until I got home from vacation and she was more than happy to accommodate me. Jersey was shipped to me from Michigan and when she arrived she had everything. Paperwork, a certificate of health from the vet, she had her favorite toy and a blanket. As you can imagine
she was sad but she was so very excited for me. She asked me to call as soon as we got her from the airport but I called her to let her know the flight was delayed and we talked right up
until she left, I let her know when she landed and when she was safely home. She was so concerned and wanted to make sure everything was ok after such a long trip. Jersey was fine and I was thrilled. Brenda really cares about her pups.

Hi everyone I just wanted to let everyone know that Brenda (Breny) is such a wonderful person and breeder, Brenda updated us every week with pictures and info on are babies. Also every email I sent her, I always got a reply, I would not hesitate on recommending Brenda to anyone, once you speak to her you will know she truly cares for her fur family. 

Also Brenda does stand behind her babies 100%, even though her contract states she offers a one year health guarantee, she stands behind her babies for life! Thanks to Brenda I was able to watch my baby grow from two days old, that was very exciting for me.
Also my vet was very impressed with my baby in general and he also could not get over how beautiful her coat looks already, Also any pictures of the parents I would ask for she did not mind sending me them and she also let me know that she is a phone call away if I need anything!
When I got to the airport to pick my gem Ruby up she had a washable pee-pee pad that I can use for her now and the most cutest little blanky, also she sent me the most heart warming letter with the first picture of my little girl Ruby on it, it just made me cry It showed how much she truly cares.( Oh she also was calling me and sending me txt msgs till she knew her baby was safely in my arms ) On top of that she sent all of my babies Bully sticks.
I hope to meet Brenda in person in the future some time Also if anyone is interested in her fur-babies when the time comes feel free to ask me anything you want about my baby and Brenda. I give Brenda a thumbs up!

Brenda (Breny) is so awesome! I inquired about a puppy from her I think about 2 or 3 months after I had been on Yorkie Talk. I was looking for another Michigan breeder. Someone who was closer. Someone who cared about her babies and not about just getting money like my last breeder. It worked out because we don't live that far apart and I thought it was worth the 45-50 minute drive. So I sent her a PM and within hours I had a response back letting me know that she didn't have any at the time but planned on having some babies in the summer. I was like ok I can wait till then because I was going to be moving and we would be settled in and everything before the new puppy came home and it would just be better because we were living in an apartment and now we live in a condo and its so much better. Anyways when it was getting closer for Brenda's puppies to arrive I kept my eye on YT like a hawk. LOL! As soon as she posted she had babies I sent her a email right away and got a response not to far after.

Brenda is so sweet and caring. She really takes good care of her babies and I couldn't have asked for a better breeder. She has given myself and Jackie (PrincessTinker) numerous updates and photos gallore. It's like we have never missed a day in Maverick's or Ruby's life. I think that is so special for any new puppy owner. I've asked her and Jackie numerous questions because even though I have Keely and she is 9 months old I am still learning. And now this is a little boy so things are going to be a little bit different, but I'm ready. I'm ready to bring this healthy happy little boy home.

I would recommed her to anyone who is looking for a new furbaby. Tim and I are so happy and we can't wait to bring Maverick home today.

He goes to the vet on Monday so I will give an update on here about that. But other than that Brenda is the greatest.
